Excellent welding machine

Excellent welding machine

If you are a weekend warrior welder tinkering in your garage, you might be able to wait for your local welding supply to pick it up and fix it for you….no big deal, so you won’t get your brother in laws lawnmower deck fixed for a few more days (he is a jerk anyway).Spend several hours researching welding forums searching on terms like “pipeline jobs”, “pipeline welding”, and “pipeline welding certification test.” You need to get a feel for the pipeline welding industry.

But what about those of us who are facing a deadline for completing a real paying welding job? If you are in that boat with me, then you know you either need a spare welding machine, or you need to be able to fix your problem quickly and get to welding again.

Miller Electric has a reputation for really good customer support. With a 3 year warranty and availability of parts, Miller can usually get you up and running quickly. And the best thing about them is that they seem to have common sense… And They will usually even work with you in the grey areas.

I am sure there are other welding machine brands available like Lincoln or Esab that offer good customer service but my experience has mostly been with Miller Welders and Miller’s Reps…and so far so good.6011, 6013, and 7018 will weld on A/C, but 6010 wont. If you like welding with 6010, buy an A/C and DC stick welding machine. You can usually get one for only about a 100 dollars more than what you would pay for a A/C buzz box. Another bonus in buying a stick welding machine that also welds with DC current is that you can hook up a scratch start TIG torch later if you want to venture into TIG welding.
The features of Longevity 160 amp multi-process welders are kind of impressive: 160 amps, ability to tig weld aluminum, can also be used as a plasma cutter and stick welder…Wow!

A good Miller, Lincoln, or Thermadyne Tig Welder Inverter will cost you We have proposed a PP-R pipe, which is the latest from Europe, the observing system, one of the advanced technologies used to prwell over 3000 dollars by the time you get all the extra welding supplies you need like foot pedal, tig torch, flowmeter, ground clamp and all.

Longevity welders do not have some of the advanced features like A/C waveshaping that the Miller Dynasty 200DX and The Lincoln Invertec v205t have, but the basic features actually are similar…and you cant use the Miller or the Lincoln as a plasma cutter.

So it is very intriguing when you see a Chinese Tig Welder that will also do plasma cutting and stick welding, advertised for around 750 dollars with all the accessories included.
